CANCELED - SEE NEW TRIP POSTING FOR SATURDAY MAY 21, 2001

Open Boat Joe e-mailed and wants to run the Nescopeck Friday. Told him I was in. Just posting here to try to find a couple others with nothing better to do Friday.

Anyone want to join in the fun Huh Not sure what time yet. Won't be home right away after work so check back after 7-8pm or e-mail me at rebjsw@epix.net and I'll let you know when once I get home tonight.

Meeting at the putin at 10am. At this time it's Openboat Joe and myself. Call 717-365-3167 if you are coming. In the morning call 717-512-2824 between 8:30am and 10am.

We got hammered with rain here near home, an hour or so south-west of the Lehigh Valley, but it appears that the drainage area for the Nescopeck got less rain. Some but not the really heavy stuff.
Over the last 5 days the rain gauge at Hazleton shows just under 2 inches and the gauge at FEW a little over an inch.

Inflow to FEW is around 1200cfs,

Stoddartsville is running around 450cfs heading up.

And the Wapwallopen gauge is around 150cfs at this time.

I would expect something around a medium level on the Nescopeck if we don't get hammered with rain between now and puton time.

With the rain still falling from the sky, the weather outlook for today less than perfect, and the promise of a much better day tomorrow.... we are calling this trip off today and switching up to tomorrow.

RESCHEDULED for Saturday May 21, 2011 10am at the putin.
I'll start another post for tomorrows trip.
