Splash !!  Wink Wink

I'd like to get to GHP but this weekend is not good. Jill has been away at this 7 day stage race since last Saturday and she is coming home this coming Saturday. So while I want to get out and paddle somewhere, a 4 hour drive to and from GHP isn't going to work this weekend.

For future reference, do you know of a cheap place to stay/camp overnight out there ?? It might be good to drive out early one day, boat, stay over night, boat again the next day and then drive home.

BTW If you are hitting the LY I'm pretty sure you could get Mike to tag along for that. He is ready to get back on that river to test his improved skills.

Splash it would be nice to hear from you soon so I could make other plans if this plan does not work out for us. Nothing like waiting to the last minute.  Smiley

FYI there is a small group of 4 so far that are talking about either a run of the Upper Lehigh with a possible bike shuttle(just cuz it's a nice day for it) or a run of the Lower Lehigh (no bike shuttle with this option!!!). Either way I expect we will try to meet either at White Haven or Glen Onoko by 8am !!! So not for the late crowd.

I have to be on the road toward home by 6pm to greet my wife when she gets home after 7 straight days of mountain biking anywhere from 5 to 6 hours a day !! Is she nuts ?? Maybe. But then again, maybe not, cuz she says she's looking forward to getting on the water. Maybe Sunday in the SusQ.
