Dauphin Narrows Thursday, August 2

So, I lead my first trip ever for CCGH on the Narrows. Hopefully the 8 individuals who paddled with me thought it was a pleasant time. Those who paddled were: Janet and Chris (AKA "husband), Sandy, Dave, Zeke, Steve, Dan and Gary. We paddled upstreamed to get warmed up and then bee-lined our way to the Statue of Liberty before cutting hard left towards the wave. Everyone splashed through the wave successfully and we even tried to play on it with our big rec boats. We also had the obligatory swimmer...it was either Dan or Steve. We then paddled our way down to the boat ramp as the sun was setting. And that about sums it up.
