Location: Appalachian Brewing Company
Time: 3pm - 5pm

Join us for the annual CCGH Meltdown Party celebrating the end of winter and the start of a new paddle season.
This year we will be on the 2nd floor of the Appalachian Brewing Company, 50 North Cameron Street, Harrisburg, PA,from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday March 31st. There is plenty of parking in the lot behind the building. Cost is $5 per person (mostly for use of the room). The club will provide items from ABC's appetizer menu and non-alcoholic drinks. We can stay after 5 so maybe plan on getting some dinner from the great food selection at the ABC Restaurant and making an evening of it.

The initial post for the Meltdown Party was posted on the General Discussion baord.  This is a great location for the party with lots of room to mingle, swap lies - I mean tell stories - meet new members and catch up with old friends.  Several of us are already planning to stay after 5 and have dinner, ABC has a really nice menu to select from, you can check it out on their website at  http://www.abcbrew.com/harrisburg/index.htm.  Don't wait, let me know you are coming so I can make the food order.

Just got back from the Meltdown Party at ABC; quite a few members attended - 35 +.  Met and talked to a number of new members as well as may old friends.  About 15 stayed for dinner after the official end of the party at 5:00.  If you missed it we'll do it again next year so start planning now, maybe we'll schedule it earlier in February so the hardcore paddlers don't feel like they are missing out on a day of paddeling; maybe we should call it the "I'm Ready For A Meltdown Party".   It you were there glad to see you, if you missed it hope to see you on the water.
