Vern, Anybody else,

Just saw a post on FEW FB page that they will be matching outflow to inflow on Sunday. Not sure what that will be but could easily be enough to do a Sunday run (with your Mother?) .

Hate to be the turd in the punchbowl, but with the lack of anything else running in Eastern Pa. combined with no Sunday release, the few surf spots will be totally jambed full.

I haven't been to Stoney lately-if anyone else wants to run out there. There is a local who runs shuttle so we could save on gas.

If not, I'll probably see you at the zoo.

Jon,

What fun is it if you have the river all to yourself !! Expect to be playing "bumper cars" with the flotillas of rafts and all the other boaters. I think the size of our group shaping up to run the river will be indicative of the total number of boaters and rafters on the river. The Lower section would probably be less crowded but that's why we are doing the Upper, where we can get the highest concentration of boats and rafts !!!  Wink

BIG group shaping up, may be more jump on till Saturday morning !! Again this is probabaly indicative of the total number of boaters that will be out and about on the Lehigh this weekend so get ready for a crowd !!

Should be lots of people meeting at Wilco to carpool. Leaving that location around 8:30.

FYI there was some construction along 81 around the Hometown exits that have the highway shut down to one lane at places so you may see a slow go thru that area.

Weather is looking great, this will help get even more boaters on the river Saturday !!
Mostly sunny with temps in the upper 60's by puton and low to mid 70's by trips end.

Water level should be good, with the dam topped off now, they are running ~800cfs from now on thru Saturday and will readjust the flow for Sunday to build the pool elevation back up to 1370'.

So, if you wanted to, you could have run the river today, and missed the circus tomorrow, but again... what fun would that be !!!

See you all Saturday morning.

Maybe the raft count will be low this time of year?
