I had a great time doing the Upper Lehigh today!  Did quite a few combat rolls a seal drop and did have to swim 2 times, but I am starting to feel a lot more comfortable in the Varun!  Thanks to everyone for all the good advice and help on getting thru the rapids.  Cant wait to do this again!

Mike Carter,

  That first time surf for you was in the big hole/wave at Second Chance rapid that alot choose to bomb thru. I sat in the river right eddy and watched you get on .... it was a good one !  Wink

Yes I did, these photos were taken out of the video.  Hope to have it up later this week.

I liked the screen in screen shots of the seal launches at Lunch Rock and also liked the missed roll attempts and swim to end the vid.

The video camera mounted on the back deck looks like a good tool to diagnose roll problems !!! You could have been tucked tighter to start ?? Not sure ?? Lifting your head is always so easy to say.... but not always the real cause of missing rolls.
