Is 8:30 the time to shuttle or be in the water?  I will be there and I think Sarah S. and Mike D. will be along with me.

Todd,

Neil can correct me if I'm wrong but.....

I believe his plan is for everyone to meet at White Haven at 8:30. That puts the actual shuttle time around 8:45-9am.... on the water by 9:15-9:30am.

Count me in for Sunday morning. I'll be joining the group camping at hickory run Saturday night too.

See you then,

Hey, Clark. I'm hoping to catch a one-way ride to White Haven. That's not very cost-saving for a driver w/2. Any other hershey-harrisburgers going on this early trip?

Got some good close ups of the troops. A good series of Pete throwing the "Brown" going over Triple Drop. I even got a few canoes in there too.  Smiley

Nice pics Ricky. It was nice to see you up there with Todd and others. I'm sure Neil, Vern or John will give a full report but I had the pleasure of helping with the level 3 course for two days this weekend and we had a blast of a time. The caliber of students that we got to work with was amazing. These folks were talented, fun to be around and super fired up on the sports of kayaking and canoeing. John and Neil were all expert in their instruction practices and these students really progressed within 48 hours. I made some new paddling buddies and we all shared some great times up on the Lehigh. I know we will all welcome these new members graciously into our club. I know within the past week there has been some controversy over two new members joining the LY trip this Friday. Well I got to paddle and have a few drinks with these two "jokers" and they are more than ready to join in on the LY. The last several pics illustrate a textbook combat roll by one of them and this person has only been kayaking for 6 weeks. We ran these guys over, under and through (backwards as well) all the hardest LY lehigh kinda lines and they boofed, blasted and styled their way to 100/100 on the LY pre test. I'm sure they will run clean on Friday and to help escort them I'm going to try and go out Friday for the trip.

We had another great day up on the Upper Lehigh!  Had two combat rolls at the second lunch wave and one eairlier in the day.  I also had to swim once after I got my bell rung pretty good from a few hard hits on some rocks, now I wish I would have gottem a full face helmet after I found out how hard you can hit.  Just glad it hit the side and not my face!   Thanks Rick for the great photos and showing us the lines again!
