CCGH New Years Day Paddle

NEW YEARS DAY PADDLE:

Start your new year off right; join your friends and fellow CCGH'ers for the CCGH New Years Day Paddle on the Yellow Breeches.  Meet at the covered bridge on the campus of Messiah College at 10 a.m.  Scott and Phyllis Brown have graciously volunteered to organize this paddle, please call them at 766-4227 or 350-8969, and let them know you are coming.

Does anyone know if there is ice on the Yellow Breeches? Up here the Penns Creek is frozen across at a lot of places. Is the trip still going to happen New Years day?

I've never seen the Yellow Breeches freeze up - too many springs feeding it.  The weather Sat is also supposed to be near 50 deg.  I'm planning to attend, and probably won't take an ice breaker (although some of the kayakers think my canoe would work for that).  Hope to see you there.
