FIDDLERS ELBOW SLALOM NEEDS VOLUNTEERS FOR REGISTRATION & WIRE HANGING
Last month we were seeking a person who would handle the race registrations for Fiddlers Elbow Slalom September 26 - 27. We Have since been notified our course builder will not be available so we need someone to volunteer for that function also. This person will be in charge of the wire stringing and gate hanging crews. This will all happen the week of the race. Two or three evenings and the weekend....there will be plenty of help and guidance from our regular builder and from the race chairman.
We still have an urgent need for someone with email capabilities to take over as our Fiddlers Elbow Slalom registration manager since Eileen Burns is moving and will not be around for this year's race. This person will receive race entry forms and log them into a spreadsheet and build the competitor's running order sheet. This all will happen in the month of September.... nothing to do the rest of the year. I'm sure Eileen will offer all the help and advice she can while she is still here and Walt Sieger (race chairman) will be here all September to provide help, advice and support.
The annual Fiddlers Elbow race is where Casey & Ricky got their start at a very young age and they represented the United States in the 2008 Olympic Games in Bejing, so please THINK BIG and come out and help! You are certain to have fun and make some new friends along way! There is way too much work for just one person to handle, so please call Walt Sieger at 717-938-6302. |
