The trip is ON! There are some strainers to stay away from. Also, a few Class 1 waves/drops. Open boaters will probably get wet. We both wore our dry gear and I used my skirt. There are a number of curves and slots that you will need to be able to steer your boat through. If you are a brand new boater (or only have a Rec boat/sit-on-top), I would recommend going another day/trip when the water isn’t as pushy and cold. There will be 2 portages including the one where the road crosses through the creek and be prepared to get your feet wet/muddy. For you surfing junkies there are at least 2 great play spots along the trip. See you tomorrow between 10 – 10:30. It is going to be chilly again tomorrow so wear a warm layer.
