The trip is from Paw Paw, WV to Little Orleans, MD. It is about 20 miles stretched over three days so a very lazy pace. I don’t think any of the ledges even qualify as Class I. Swimming, fishing, water fights, etc are encouraged. A West Virginia or Maryland license is required for fishing.
We camp at the hiker/biker campsites between the C&O canal and the Potomac. Sorrel Ridge on Saturday and Devil’s Alley on Sunday. There is a picnic table, fire pit, water pump, and outdoor toilet at each site.

Here is the usual itinerary.
Friday, June 23
8:00 Breakfast in Hancock, Md at Park-n-Dine and head to the river. It is about 50 miles to the Paw Paw WV public boat ramp. https://goo.gl/maps/hv4xi6iQcxr
The shuttle details depend on how many people/boats are going.
We arrive at the camp sites mid afternoon with plenty of time to set up, cook, and explore. The first night is a short walk up to the Paw Paw Tunnel.
Sunday, June 25
Noon – Arrive Little Orleans take-out.
