So, Neil, Phil, & I checked it out Saturday at 4.38ft. Clear enough, except for the stone arch bridge between Simpson park & McCormick Rd. The right 2 arches are completely blocked, the next one is partially blocked, with a twist right turn required, and the far left one is partially blocked, with a drop that sends you into the left wall. A water level change could make them more dangerous. Inexperienced paddlers should take out at Simpson Park. Time for the run yesterday was 1hr to McCormick Rd. And 2 hrs to Lower Allen Park. The stone arch bridge is not portagable – land is posted & there are fences. With rain predicted today, if the level goes over 5ft., then you may not be able to get under the Rt 114 bridge near the end.
