I plan to drive out to Cheat on Friday morning and run the river Friday, camp at Teeters and run it again Saturday. If there is any interest in mt biking Sunday, we can do that or relax in the morning and then drive home. There are 34 rapids on this section (Cheat canyon), 30 class-3 and 4 class-4. You should be comfortable paddling the Lower Yough to do the Cheat. Of coarse this trip could be canceled if water levels get too high or too low. I will be happy to take first timers if there are enough support boaters.
Post here if you want to go or have questions. You can also call me.

Right now the level is 2.1 on bridge guage and dropping. It’s too close a call, yet, for me if it will be high enough on Friday and Saturday. I am going to wait till tomorrow to decide.

Our plan is to run the Cheat on Friday. It’s getting on the low side but a good play level. They might get some rain tonight and bring it up a little. We will decide Friday or Saturday morning what to run on Sat. Probobly the Stoney, They are having a release sat and Sunday. We are meeting at the Cheat put-in Fri at noon. I am canceling the Mt biking for Sunday due to lack of interest and a rainy weekend.
