Greetings gang, I have a 14 foot Hurricane kayak and would like to paddle starting from the Susquehanna State Park down the bay to just above Annapolis Maryland where my daughter just purchased a house.. I’ve been paddling for over 20 years and I feel that I have the necessary experience. Are there areas of the bay that I should give a wide birth? I bought the book “Sea Kayaking the Chesapeake Bay” but I still have questions. My main areas of concern are paddling by the Aberdeen Proving Grounds and passing the mouth of the Patapsco River. My destination would be an inlet at Cape Saint Clair (just south of Gibson Island). Any advice would be appreciated.
