Looks like the river level should be coming down to right around 4′ for Wednesday evening.

Jill and I plan to be at Al Sutton’s place around 4 p.m. today for a couple hours of paddling out in the Narrows. The level is just about down to 4 feet on the Harrisburg gauge. Just about a perfect level for this location.

Hopefully you didn’t get caught in the thunderstorms. Was going to come out till the storms started.

We did get out for a bit, maybe 40 minutes at most, until we heard some thunder and saw a few flashes of lightening. We were about half way across the river and turned back. We got back just in time as it started to rain but not so hard that we couldn’t get things loaded up. Soon after it really started to cut loose. We ran into another really hard section of rain on the way home.
