Will be there around 4-4:30 also. River level is on the rise. Going from 4′ yesterday to ~4.4′ by the end of the night.

Bruce Pasker was there around 5-5:30 and headed out. Tim Kocker said he was going to get out there around 6 last evening. Not sure if he made it out, or not. I expect Tim was going to paddle up from the west shore side.

The level was on the rise last eve, was around 4.3′, and along with the higher water levels and the wind, made for an interesting time. Those few of us there didn’t do much more than paddle over to the west shore side and back again. Pretty decent flow and not a lot of eddies.

So far from my few times out in the Narrows this year it appears that the actual water levels have seemed higher than what I would expect from the gauge readings on the Harrisburg gauge. Higher in the respect that it seems flows are more and the normal rocks I expect to see are still covered by water so less eddies also.

It helps if people post here on the board that they are going, not email Rick. I play it safe and don’t go out solo on the narrows even though I know I can and am very comfortable out there. Thank you.
