The extra rain from the west and north caused the Juniata river to rise 3 feet and triple in volume, so we moved the class to the Codorus Creek which was running very low. It was even below the American Whitewater minimum but there was still a lot of great features to learn on. The big rapids were still harder than we wanted so we portaged them. We had a great group of enthusiastic students, that worked hard, tried new things, and did really well!
The follow-up trip was held the next day on the family section of the Lehigh river. Here are some photos from the FUN weekend!
