Kayak Level 3 class was held on the “Family section” of the Lehigh river, taught by Marybeth, Neil, and Phil. The heat didn’t stop Gary and Mike from working hard on their river kayaking skills, and they did really well. Several bow rescues and rolls helped them cool off. USGS water level 1100 CFS, 3.5 ft.
The following day they put their skills to the test and had an awesome run on the follow-up trip of the Upper Lehigh! It was a FUN day on the river with plenty of good surfing, ferrying, eddies, and peel outs along the way. USGS water level 828 CFS, 4.28 ft.
