I just did something I’ve never done before. Signed up for a kayak class!!

This Level 4 kayaking class is being given by Jim Costello, a seasoned ACA certified instructor, who is just getting involved with the CCGH club training program this year.

The location is familiar to most everyone who paddles whitewater with the CCGH club. The Upper Lehigh, White Haven to Rockport. So, if you’ve ever thought about getting some advanced instruction/training this is the time to come out and support the club training program and get some instruction from a new, to CCGH, instructor.

Come join in the fun on August 10th. There will be a follow up trip on the same section, Upper Lehigh, WH to RP the next day, Sunday August 11th.

Jill and I will probably be camping overnight at Whitewater Challengers Saturday night. Come join us.

Link to online ACA Adult Waivers

It would be helpful for all class participants to print out and fill out one of these forms and bring them along. It would save some time at the put in. If not I’ll bring some copies along to be filled out.

      Just another FYI
Jill was going to come camp Saturday night at WWC but is doing a tri-race Sunday at Lake Nockamixon and logistics just aren’t working out so she is not camping now.
So I changed my reservation from 2 people Sat night … to 1 person Fri & Sat nights. I’m now planning on arriving at WWC campsite Friday afternoon sometime.
I called today to make the changes and get a site number but they haven’t assigned site numbers yet.

      Just FYI

I just booked camping for Jill and myself at Whitewater Challengers for Saturday night, August 10, 2019. If you want to come camp overnight at WWC just use this link below to book a spot online. $9.50+tax per person per night.

They don’t assign site numbers until about a week before the reserved night. So if someone wants to book a spot for the 10th of August and wants to be close to our site, you can book online and then call (1-800-443-8554) and ask them to put a notation on your reservation to “KEEP WITH” the Ricky Brown group.

I will call mid-week, the week before August 10th and get our site number(s) and then post it here.
