Just reminding everyone about this fun evening. If you can’t make it for dinner, however, want to stop over to celebrate the clubs 40th birthday then stop over around 7:15 or so. We will be in the back room of the restaurant.

Dinner options are the same as last year
      – Baked Haddock
      – Deluxe Burger
      – Roast Turkey
      – Four Piece Broasted Chicken
      – Grilled Chicken Breast Salad

Good evening all fellow boaters. I have had some questions in relationship to the prices for the Meltdown party so I decided to advise how the prices are determined.
      1. First the Peachtree is a very nice restaurant whose manager, Denise, is very nice to work with and wants to make our party a nice event.
      2. This is a great location. If you boat on the Susquehanna then you are only minutes away. No excuses!
      3. The Peachtree always charges large groups the cost of $ 13.99 plus tax/gratuity.
      a. Their “group menu” choices are five of their entrees and last year the decision was made to switch two of those entrees from the menu and replace with two more casual meals. The same is happening again this year.
      b. You have unlimited non-alcoholic beverages (and they have a nice array of ‘spirits’ if you are so moved or had a rough day).
      c. They do NOT charge us a room charge for their backroom
      d. They have to have extra staff on this evening to help with serving
      e. They allow us to bring in our own dessert (instead of purchasing theirs) and their wait staff will cut and serve this for us (and we can use their plates, etc.) all this without an extra charge.
So this evening is a great value and you get to have a fun evening with your friends. I am hoping that this answers any last minute questions and that we see you all at the “Meltdown Party/40th Birthday Party!

Thanks to everyone who attended the Meltdown party. A big thanks to Walt for bringing the photo albums. I had a chance to look thru some of them and it is great that there are so many memories! Also, a big thank you to Megan Barrick for the wonderful drawing that turned into a great birthday cake!

      Happy birthday CCGH!

It was really nice to get together for a nice dinner and to reminisce with good friends, talk about your adventures and families, about classes that you plan to take, and boating that you have done this year so far or plan to do.
