The Potomac trip on Saturday has been a bike and paddle trip. It is a 10 mile bike ride on the C&O tow path from Nolands Ferry to Brunswick and 10 miles of paddling on the Potomac back to Nolands Ferry. The gravel bike trail is flat and the stretch of the Potomac is an easy Class 1. We will meet at the put-in in Brunswick, Md at 10:30.

Scott and I decided not to participate in the bike part of the Potomac trip but will accommodate any that still want to do it. If there are no bikers, the Potomac trip turns into a traditional paddle trip with a car shuttle.

We will be camping overnight at Greenbrier state park near Boonsboro, Md if you want to stay for the Antietam Creek on Sunday.

Please let me know if you intend to join us.

If you want to caravan or try to carpool, we plan to have breakfast at Bakers Diner in Dillsburg, Pa. at 8, leave for Brunswick at 9:00, and arrive at put-in in time to run the shuttle at 10:30. The rest is up in the air until we know the bike/car/driver/boat counts.
