See link to event calendar for contact details
I am waiting to see what the level will be in order to determine which section of Shermans Creek we will be paddling. Right now, it looks like we will do the lower section which starts in Dellville and ends in Duncannon at the Susquehanna River. Once I know for sure, I will post directions. The meet time will be 10:00. The paddle time will be about 3 hours with a stop for lunch / leg stretch. I hope you can join us!
I hope to be there .. if i can get all my “honey do chores done”.
Jill and I are planning on joining you.
I’m planning on joining also.
Lisa,
I have been looking at going on this paddle, but I will call Saturday night to confirm. The weather does not seem to be changing for the better.
Thanks,
Karen Unruh

Craig and Leeann will be attending
Please meet at the Dellville Bridge at 10:00. Shuttle at 10:15. Directions: From 11/15 Marysville, head North and get off the Duncannon exit. Bear right (Yield) and at 3-way stop sign, turn Left onto 274 West. Go through the traffic light and take the next Left onto Dellville Road. (Right side says Gambers Corner). Go about 5ish miles and turn left on Pine Hill Rd to cross the Creek. Once you cross, take an immediate Right onto Dark Hollow Road. Go less than .5 mile and you will see a pull off to park and unload your vehicle. There are no facilities at the put in.
The take out is in Duncannon right before the Susquehanna River on Little Boston Road. There is a mini-market close by for changing/bathroom/drinks/etc..
This paddle will proceed Rain or Shine unless it’s life threatening conditions (close lightening, earthquake, tornado, or snow). Currently, they are calling for intermittent rain so wear waterproof clothes and have dry clothes for the take out. For those who are interested, there is a wonderful 3B ice cream place at 521 N Market St, Duncannon which is only 1 mile from the take out.
The paddle should take about 3 hours with a lunch stop along the way. If you need to get in touch with me tomorrow morning, call me at 717-713-5562.
See you guys up at the Dellville Dam put in by 10am.
