Sunday 4/9 we are meeting in Lickdale at 10:00 to do the section from Pine Grove to the Waterville Bridge.

The weather is looking good for both Saturday and Sunday this weekend.

I’ve had one request to go on Sunday, so that is an option instead of Saturday.

I plan on going Saturday also. The only problem might be water level and possibly wind?

Sunday does look like a better day, but Saturday is still doable. How flexible are people?

I’m in for Saturday, working the desk at the CCGH pool session on Sunday. Also, I’m not 100% sure I know where Boat House Park is located (lived a sheltered life). Howard

I think we are going to do a double header and I will do both days, since I had some interest in both Saturday and Sunday.

Right now the Creek is at 3500 cfs at Pine Grove (the median for this time of year is about 300 cfs). We’ll have to see if it comes down over the next 24 hours. Peekskill Check back here Saturday morning before heading out.

Saturday, we’ll do an upper section from Pine Grove to the Waterville Bridge in Swatara State Park. We can meet at the General Store at the Lickdale Campground at the Rt 72 exit off of I-81 at 10:00.

Sunday, we can do the section from Gravel Hill Road to Boathouse Park in Hershey, if the level is low enough. The park is just off Sand Beach Road and Boat House Road, to the North of the Hotel Hershey. Boathouse Road is between Hershey Park Drive and the creek, just off of Rt. 39; Boat House Park is upstream from Rt. 39. We can meet at the park at 11:00.

The creek is still at 1200 CFS at Pine Grove, so I think we should cancel for today (Saturday).

Is anyone interested in Sunday fro the same section?

For doing the upper creek on Sunday, we will meet at the store at the KOA campground at 10:00. The address is 1 Lickdale Rd, Jonestown, PA. Go north on I-81 after the I-78 split and take the first exit for Rt. 72. It is right next to the Dunkin Donuts.
