Thursday evening July 13 to Sunday July 16
This is now less than one week away and just re-posting this. I will be getting an email or phone call out to those that have said that they will be going with final times to meet on Friday for the group activity.
Our group picnic will be Friday evening (instead of the normal Saturday as in past years). So bring something to share if you choose to. Time will be determined later.
If anyone is still interested you can call me at 717-350-4701 to see if we would be able to have enough for a 3rd raft.
Friday – The outfitter is expecting us for the rafts around 10-10:15 and we need time to run the shuttle before. So I am anticipating that we would meet in the large parking lot in Ohiopyle to get ready for shuttle by 9:15 sharp. Note that you will need approx $ 25 for rafting/bus ride.
The list I have so far is. Please let me know if your plans have changed:
Kathy Yinger- rafting / camping
Lydia Fehr- rafting / camping
Mark O’Handly- rafting / camping
Kate O’Handly- kayak / camping
Andrew (Mark)- rafting/ camping
Brian Palmer- rafting /camping(let me know by Wednesday evening your final decision)
John Rote- rafting (driving out Friday am)
Bruce Pasker- kayaking / in campground
Susan Pasker- rafting / in campground
Ethan Shepley- rafting / camping
Vince Shepley – rafting / camping
brother Shepley- rafting / camping
Chris Holladay – kayaking / camping
Jill Wiest – ducky / camping (one night)
Rick Brown – ducky / camping (one night)
Walt Sieger- canoe / camping
Ben Shank and 3 others (will get 3rd raft)
Saturday- there is a planned float down the Middle Yough for anyone interested
Plenty of other things to do as well even if anyone is interested in coming out to camp (have a few spots left) at the group site.
Watch for the email early in the week. I anticipate that I will be arriving at the campsite 6:30-7 on Thursday night. The 230 site holds 20 campers and has 4 parking spots (sometimes we can get 5 there) and there is an overflow parking lot not too far.
